Born in 1992 to a family of painters, teachers and sculptors, Mariana Veiga is an Amsterdam-based artist from a patrimony town in Brazil.
Mariana Veiga is a representational oil painter, driven by technical precision and the timeless qualities of the old masters.
She began her creative journey with a foundation in Graphic Design, and further trained to specialize in fine arts, studying at the Florence Academy of Arts and the Dutch Atelier of Realist Art. She deepened her skills in the Fine Arts Academy of Belas Artes, in Brazil, and immersed in a sculpture retreat with the master Eudald de Juana to capture depth and chiaroscuro.
Drawing from her Brazilian roots and the meticulous craftsmanship of historical masters, Mariana aims to capture emotion and balance in each piece created. Her work is a dialogue between tradition and social heritage—a way to bring a unique perspective to the global stage.
She strives to convey her vision with excellence, respect and admiration.
